Fabric Care Instructions

For Best Results . . .
  • Use a quality detergent - additives such as fabric softener can cause pilling and fading.
  • Wash in small loads.

  • Turn everything inside out.
  • Sort loads by similar weight fabric and colors.
  • Be sure to pre-treat any stains on items before washing. (Machine washing and drying without pre-treating may set stains permanently)
  • Use non-chlorine bleach.
  • Use dryer sheets instead of fabric softener.

  • Zippers, snaps and buttons should be fastened before washing to prevent snags

PULL OFF THE PILLING Yes, those little balls of fuzz that seem to appear out of nowhere can be the curse of a perfectly good outfit. But rest assured, all is not lost on a little pilling. You should expect pilling on a new item even if that is made of a natural fabric like wool, angora, cashmere. This will happen until you have that item laundered. To manually remove pills, the best course of action is to manually pull them off. Do not use a sweater shaver many sweaters have been ruined by an over-excited shaver.

Cotton
Turn inside out and wash in cold water, gentle cycle. Dry on flat surface or tumble dry on low setting; remove promptly. Wash dark colors separately. Do Not Bleach.
